START YOUR OWN PoSA Meeting

Please be aware that to our knowledge, all of the 12-step programs for partners of sex addicts refer to us as“co-addicts” and are not formatted to encompass the Trauma Model. Therefore, we cannot endorse them whole-heartedly.

However, we are also aware that when the betrayal trauma of sex addiction strikes in your primary relationship, you may or may not care that much- it may be more important just to be able to meet others who are struggling through this issue, no matter the terminology or approach used in the meeting format itself.

Sometimes attending these kinds of meetings can be a good way to connect with other attendees after the meetings, too.

We just want to list ALL forms of support here that are available until such time that there is a full-fledged PoSA Meeting in every area. If you are up for forming your own PoSA meeting, please check out the free materials and guidance to proceed with the set-up, linked to here.
